Record Keeping: Historical Records to Modern Access

 I’m proud to serve in a role that keeps our courthouse running strong, day in and day out.


The Clerk’s Office is the heartbeat of county government. We support the County Commission, manage critical records, handle payroll and accounts payable, and oversee elections with accuracy and integrity.

Most people know us for elections, but that’s just the beginning.


Our work reaches nearly every department. We keep things organized, accountable, and moving forward. Because when the Clerk’s Office runs smoothly, the entire courthouse runs better, and that means better service for our county.


At the core of it all is record-keeping. From Commission minutes to decades of history, we protect our county’s story and ensure openness and accountability for every citizen.


And we’re not stopping there.


Looking ahead, I’m excited about modernizing our records through digitization and working toward a public access portal that makes information easier to find while preserving our history for future generations. This is an important long-term goal that will take planning, and one I am committed to working toward responsibly and with the community in mind.
